After eight decades of records, cassettes, and compact discs, the Nassoons’ entire repertoire will soon be available to stream digitally.
This summer, subscription services like Spotify will carry the group’s back catalogue, starting with the 1942, 1947, and 1949 albums. The plan is to release a new decade’s worth of music every few weeks, aiming to have all Nassoon recordings streaming by the end of December.
Alan Southworth ‘14 will be uploading these remastered audio files to the cloud-based subscription services. And all those five-part harmonies will be available anytime, anywhere—just in time for the Nassoons’ 80th anniversary. Thank you, Alan, for your hard work on this project!
1 - 2 - 3 ROOT! Way to go Alan. The technological advancement for the 1990 album was we only made CDs and cassettes. We did not print albums. That was 90s next level stuff!
